Ned kelly's Helmet was made of steel plogh share and leather. Ned kelly wore his helmet when his final confrontation with the police. Ned kelly also made body armour that covers his back, chest and part of his legs. Ned kelly's armour was the most important because it shows that Ned kelly is part of his gang. The police mainly aimed to Ned kelly's head, is was really lucky that Ned kelly made a helmet armour.
Ned kelly got the idea of making a Helmet from different policemen, he saw policemen wear helmets as part of their armour. Ned kelly's armour was taken after he was captured, his helmet now is being displayed at The Victorian State Library.
